Mullen Motor Cars has joined Energy Cube to form ADEPT (Advanced Design Electrical Propulsion Technologies) to introduce an all new electric only power source. This unit uses only one or two 12 volt batteries to achieve a range of 350 miles (non-stop) and speeds over 100 mph. By not using a large number of batteries the weight of any vehicle is near original. There are no batteries that need to be replaced in 3 - 5 years with a huge savings in their cost (up to $20,000) and no impact on landfills or the environment. There is an additional savings by not having to purchase any gasoline or any fuels. This unit can be used in cars, pickups, vans, SUVs, and various trucks and motor homes. If needed, you could drive home, plug into the house and power your home from the car.
ADEPT will also build and distribute stand alone units rated at 5KW and 15KW to be used in remote areas or for those who don't have electricity or who want to get off a power grid. Heavy duty commercial units rated at 1.5MV are being designed.
